Naviance Student
Sachem is pleased to introduce Naviance Student, a web based service designed especially for students and parents. Naviance Student is a comprehensive website that you and your child can use to help in making decisions about courses, colleges, and careers. Naviance Student is linked with Counselor’s Office, a service that we use in our office to track and analyze data about college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that’s specific to Sachem.
Naviance Student will allow you and your child to:
- Research Colleges - Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted in the past
- Sign up for college visits – Find out which colleges are sending representatives to our school and sign up to attend those sessions
- Access Scholarship Information – Obtain information about available scholarships including application information, deadlines and requirements
Naviance Student also lets us share information with you and your child about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other Web resources for college and career information. To visit Sachem’s Naviance Student site, go to:
When you visit the site for the first time, please enter the personal registration code you will be receiving in the mail in the New User box and follow the on-screen instructions to create your own account. Note that each code may be used only once. Once you have your own account, you will sign in using the user name and password you chose during the registration process. Therefore, please keep the user name and password in a safe location for future use.
