Sachem Diversity Committee

The purpose of this committee is to foster a learning environment where racial, ethnic and other differences are not an impediment to growth and achievement and where diversity is appreciated and celebrated. Committee members would lead by example by promoting activities and solutions that benefit and unite our school community. It is the goal of the SDTF to offer feedback to the District as they design an inclusive and equitable curriculum and professional development to honor the diverse identities of all students within our district. The SDTF should consist of District-level Administration, Board Trustees, Building Administration, PTA representatives, teachers, parents, student members, as well as community members.
