Highlights

Research with a Focus

Throughout Sachem librarians are getting students logged into the computers and on the Virtual Reference Collection (VRC). Elementary students are learning the basics research using Kids InfoBits while secondary students use Noodle Tools to guide them through writing a research paper.

At Sagamore, several teachers have been working with the school librarian Ms. O’Hara to implement Google Classroom in order to collect and assess student work more efficiently.

At Wenonah teachers are trying out My Brainpop and setting up student accounts. Students are able to submit quiz results, activity pages, game snap shots, and concept maps to their teachers for easy evaluation.
